Types of Jobs

Part-time jobs, full-time jobs, WFH, etc…. are commonly well-known.

👨‍💻 What is WFH?

WFH stands for "Work from Home," as most people would assume. Although the work from home system has been gaining popularity since 2019, the Covid-19 period, it is widely used after 2020. It is also referred to as Remote Work.👨‍💻

👨‍💻 In WFH (Remote Work), there are various types, such as full time worker, moonlight worker, freelancer, diversified remote worker, part-time remote worker, remote owner. However, full time workers, part-time remote workers, and freelancers are the most commonly seen.

👨‍💻 You may wonder why WFH (Remote Work) is being divided into three categories: full-time workers, part-time remote workers, and freelancers. You might ask if these three aren’t the same. At first glance, they may seem similar, but they differ significantly in remuneration and time.

📺 Although full time remote workers have to stay at home, they remain active all the time since they must be fully available for the tasks the organization may offer anytime. Further instance for this is; a page admin with a shift from 9 am to 5 pm has to respond to all messages received during this period, meaning they have to work full time without physically going to an office. As for part-time remote workers, if they have to respond to messages between 8 pm to 11 pm, it means they only have to work between 9 pm to 11 pm, and the rest of the day is their own. So what about part-time remote workers and freelancers? Are they the same? Although these two roles may appear more similar, they are quite different. A freelancer doesn’t have specific working hours but has to complete the assigned work within a given timeframe. 🌱

⏰ What is a part-time job?

Unlike full-time positions, part-time jobs don’t have the exact working hours per week. Working part-time allows one to gain experience and a certain amount of income without the commitment of full time a day. Due to this reason, a part-time job is well-suited for students, parents who have responsibility to take care of their young children, retirees who have recently started receiving pensions, and those seeking to gain practical experience.

What is a full-time job❓

A full-time job typically involves working approximately 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. The traditional full-time work schedule often spans from 9 AM to 5 PM, although this can vary depending on the specific requirements of the company or employer.🔥
